How to delete your account
Note: PerCuriam's sync feature is entirely optional — the app works fully without an account. If you never turned on Sync & backup, you have no account to delete.
In-app deletion (recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account and all synced data:
- Open PerCuriam
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right of your library
- Go to Sync & backup
- Scroll to Delete account & synced data
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field and tap Delete
What happens immediately
- All your encrypted documents and metadata are erased from our servers
- Your account is deleted from our authentication system
- Your local library on this device is untouched
What is NOT deleted
- Your local documents, matters, and settings on this device (only cloud copies are erased)
Email deletion request
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@percuriam.app with the subject line "Delete account request" and the email address you used to sign in. We will delete your account within 30 days.
Additional notes
- Account deletion is permanent. Your recovery phrase cannot restore deleted cloud data.
- Local documents remain on your device after deletion. To remove them, uninstall the app or clear app data in Android Settings → Apps → PerCuriam → Storage → Clear data.
